Through our continuing efforts to lead the industry, we researched a new product entering the market, Rejuvenator Sealer.
We found that this product penetrated into the pavement thus reducing surface cracking.  We also realized that Rejuvenator lasted twice as long and would extend asphalt pavement life even further. Once our clients understood the increased benefits of the Rejuvenator, it became our most requested service and still is.

At this time, oil prices may have dropped, but paving asphalt has temporarily stabilized which is good for now.  However, one of our concerns with the stimulus package, is that billions of dollars will be going to road construction.  This could cause short supplies and higher costs for paving asphalt and other related products this year, and beyond.

As a result of tight budgets and rising materials costs, contractors, property managers, and owners are looking for alternatives to extend pavement life through proactive preventive maintenance methods. You now have three choices;

DO NOTHING has proven to be the most costly approach!
Studies by the Asphalt Institute and Texas A&M University report that the right treatment at the right time is three times more cost effective than doing no maintenance. “The life of the pavement can be extended 2-3 times its current life, if oxidative hardening is stopped or reversed.” Your asphalt pavement is an asset to be carefully managed; not an item to ignore until deterioration requires expensive replacement.

SEAL COATING: PRT-Group uses and recommends the use of emulsion seal coating on pavements that have already been sealed but over time the build up of this product on the pavement surface will cause sealer cracking. However, on pavements that are new or resurfaced and have not been sealed, you have the option to use Rejuvenator
instead.  We have applied Rejuvenator to over 15 million square yards of pavement over the last 18 years, and it has proven to our customers that it is the best and most cost effective choice.

REJUVENATION TECHNOLOGY: The success with rejuvenator is simple. “It works.”  It offers more than the other products at a competitive price.  Rejuvenator is designed to last 4-5 years with a 2 year warranty instead of the 2-3 years for the emulsion sealer products. For example, a coal tar seal coat job bid at $4,500 would on average be redone three times in ten years at a total cost of $13,500. Rejuvenator would be applied twice at a total cost of $10,000, a cost saving of $3,500, or a 35%. better value.
